ArtParasite presents…JORDAN DEBNEY as Artist of the Week!
These wonderfully grotesque artworks are the product of the overactive imagination and the brilliant artistic skills of Jordan Debney, a freelance illustrator from New Zealand. Horror films and the visions from his dreams feed Debney’s lively imagination and to prevent it from building up in his head, Debney employs drawing as a creative outlet so that he may retain his sanity. When I asked Debney what the word ‘art’ means to him, he responded that it was “a way of expressing how one sees the world through the core of imagination.” I cannot wait to see more works from Jordan Debney!
